How does Centralized Air Conditioning got evolved ?

WHAT IS CENTRALIZED AIR CONDITIONING? 

“To appreciate the beauty of chill airing out, it isn’t necessary to stand out in cold”, unlike uttered by the notorious philosopher Aristotle, when you have the centralized Air conditioning. Analogous to a mammoth refrigerator to the home, the air conditioner is inbuilt with similar sort of elements and components. The system is with a refrigerant serving the purpose of conversion between the liquid phase to gas and vice versa. This idea first sparkled to the British scientist Michael Faraday in the year 1820, when he found the effect of chillness when the ammonia was liquefied and then evaporated. This cycle includes the conglomeration of heat from one place and diverting to other place and likewise the coldness is collected and spread out. This system initially cools the central alcove then disperse it further to other parts of the chamber through a myriad of ducts and fans. This is facilitated by the furnace cabinet or air handler found at the attic or basement, which is the actual cell which receives the cold air which in turn equipped with a blower, pushing the breeze into the entire abode. The first modern electrical air conditioner was designed by Haviland Carrier in 1902. 

The actual working of an Air conditioner lies centrally between the two coils namely, the evaporator coil which is maintained inside the room with a temperature lower than the actual temperature and then the condenser coil, which lies outside the room at a temperature hotter than the surroundings. These coils will have a continuously flowing fluid which capture the heat from the room over the evaporator and eject it out to the surrounding through the condenser. To achieve this, additional components namely compressor and an expansion valve are present. The compressor handles the refrigerant in the gaseous state, so that the temperature rises along with the pressure. The temperature at the compressor outlet is much higher than the atmospheric temperature. Therefore, if you pass this hot gas through condenser heat exchanger, the ejection of heat outside becomes a piece of cake, which is further blown with the help of fans that makes the task easier. An expansion valve fitted at the end of condenser restrict the refrigerant flow, thereby reducing the pressure of the fluid. 

“No winter lasts forever but need not wait for experiencing the fruit of fresh breeze until winter”, once the home has a centralized air conditioner.
