In India being a hot country most of us are relying on the air conditioners to stay cool. Central air conditioners have more benefits than just maintaining a comfortable temperature.

A central AC is a system in which the air is cooled in a central location and then the air is circulated into different rooms through ducts or fans.

For an instance, a centralised AC is like a giant refrigerator. It gathers a lot of heat in one place and then distributes it to another and similarly it creates cool in one place and then distributes it to another (Balan &Yashvanth, 2020).

Although conventional air conditions control the temperature of room but fails to work adequately for the entire home. For this centralised air conditions works perfectly as they send cool air to every room simultaneously through duct or vents instead of cooling just one room and therefore eventually the entire home is under controlled temperature.

A centralized air conditioner has various health related benefits-

Clean air

Airborne particles are present in the air everywhere but at enclosed places such as workplace, offices etc these particles remain trapped along with other harmful gases and fumes which make us difficult to breathe and may cause different respiratory related issues such as asthma (Goetzler et al. 2016). Centalized ac clears out the air and makes it fresh and clean.

Humidity control

Centralized AC controls the humidity by keeping it within the healthy range. Just like temperature, humidity is something which cannot be left in a high range otherwise can affect our heath (Sultan et al. 2015).

Bad odours can have an serious effect on our health. Centralized ac eliminates the bad odour and give us filtered air.

We all know that due to the air pollutants it is really difficult to deal with allergies, respiratory problems, dust, humidity etc. Central air conditioners not only provide us a cool temperature but also improve the air quality
